Iper Hydrophobic Treatment

Technical description: The treatment consists in a superhydrophobic (water) and oleophobic (hydrocarbons) coating that repel almost any liquid. It uses nanotechnology agents to coat an object and create a barrier of air on its surface. This barrier repels water, refined oil, wet concrete, and other liquids unlike any other coating. It has vastly improved adhesion and abrasion resistance, compared to previous technologies, allowing it to be used in applications where greater durability is required. Characteristics: 1. Completely free from PFOA/PFOS or their precursors 2. Imparts excellent water, oil and stain repellent performance to treated fabrics 3. Excellent compatibility with residual materials from previous processes 4. Non-flammable 5. APEO free 6. Self cleaning A material with a angle of zero will make a drop of water lie flat. Human skin has a contact angle of 75 to 90 degrees. Car wax has a contact angle of 95 degrees. Our super hydrophilic finishing typically creates a contact angle of 170 degrees. To be tested on our industrial trials. If the contact angle were 180 degrees, any water touching it would form a perfect sphere.
